C1000 /Jumbo
– Manager Distribution Center –

Indirectly managing over 350 full time employees and x 10 directly. Expansion realization of the national distribution center in Elst. Re-locating regional distribution center to national distribution center. Responsible for multiple departments at the Woerden distribution center (38.000 m2) Introducing and guaranteeing LEAN work method. Development of KPI’s per department. Budgeting costs per package, subdivided into productivity, maintenance, depreciations (write-offs), absenteeism and education. Complete transformation from C1000 to Jumbo. Realization of better work processes in returning results.

Lidl Netherlands GMBH
– Director Logistics and Sales –

Started up the first branches in the Netherlands: developing store lay-out and design. Designing and operating the national distribution center in Heerenveen (30.000 m2) including supervising the build. Start up the complete logistics Lidl Netherlands. Outsourcing transport, acquiring and utilizing internal transport material, start up processes, budgets, KPI’s and occupation, coaching department managers.
Indirectly managing 1400 full time employees, x 15 directly and x 70 transport employees indirectly managing. Project leader process improvement and reorganization of Distribution Center in Portugal by order of the international management.
